Happy Hour with Sauza and Chef Marcela

Easy Recipes. Fresh Flavors Utmost week I hosted Happy Hour at my house in conjugation with Ladies Night In (with Chef Marcela Valladolid of Food Electronic network and Sauza Tequila) which was hosted by my friends Sink in Sandomeno and Elizabeth Mascali (Company Bluprints) and Beth Feldman (Role Mommy) on the east coast.

Chef Marcela was live at the east coast Ladies Night In where she whipped dormy some delicious recipes and answered questions from viewers during the live program – which you can vista Here.

I coif up a laptop computer on my bar and so that we could watch the festivities on the east coast while we enjoyed some yummy food and sampled a few cocktails exploitation Sauza Tequila (which was provided) here along the west coast.

How to host a tequila party

Now, let me share with you some of the recipes (and/operating theatre links to recipes) for the food and drinks served at my political party.

APPETIZERS

Pico de Gallo (by: Chef Marcela) – as you privy see from the to a higher place photo we used both yellow and red tomatoes.  This salsa was absolutely scrumptious.

Guacamole and Chips.  I'd leave you with a formula, but my fabulous friend Michelle made information technology and I couldn't re-produce it if I tried.   Present is Chef Marcela's formula though if you'd like to try it.

ENTREE

Tequila Lime Chicken Tacos – recipe provided for the political party

Ingredients: (serves 4)

  • 4 boned volaille breast halves
  • table salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup Sauza Gold Tequila
  • 1/2 cup fresh birdlime juice
  • 2 tbs Orange River spice up
  • 2 refreshed lime wedges for portion
  • 4-6 warm corn tortillas
  • 1 avocado, cut into slices

Preparation:

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on all sides.  Combine chicken, tequila, lime tree succus and orange zest in small shallow dish.  Cover and marinate at least 30 minutes and rising to 2 hours, turning occasionally.

Prepare barbecue (medium-high oestrus) or prehead broiler.  Debilitate Gallus gallus; reserve marinade.  Grille or bake until just cooked through, occasionally basting chicken with some reserved marinade, about 4-proceedings per side.  Boiling point remaining marinate in small saucepan 1 narrow.

Cut each chicken titty crosswise into thin slices.  Set up slices on platter.  Dress with birdlime wedges.  Serve chicken with tortillas, lime, avocado, and passing marinade separately As sauce.

DESSERT

BEVERAGES

* Sauza-rita

Ingredients: (9 servings)

  • 12 oz can of frozen limeade
  • 12 oz of water
  • one feeding bottle of light beer
  • 12 oz Sauza Ash gray Tequila

Preparation:

Pour limeade tush into mound.  Fill can with water and rain cats and dogs into pitcherful.  Then add a feeding bottle of frivolous beer.  Fill limeade can with Sauza Silver Tequila and pour into pitcher.  Stir and serve over ice.

* Marcela Margarita

Ingredients : (4 servings)

  • 6 oz Sauza Silver grey Tequila (enough to fill a half grapefruit)
  • 32 oz Club Soda
  • 4 tbs granulated lettuce
  • 4 grapefruits (juice but) operating theatre 12 oz grapefruit juice

Training:

Aggregate all ingredients in a pitcher.  Mix up fit and serve well cold.

* Citrus Cooler

Ingredients: (serves 6)

  • 4 oz white vino
  • 8 oz limeade
  • 8 oz gamboge-lime soda
  • 4 oz Sauza Silver Tequila

Preparation:

In a pitcher combine white wine, limeade, soda and tequila.  Serve ended methamphetamine.

* Lovesome Winter Margarita

Ingredients: (serves 4)

  • 28 oz Malus pumila juice
  • 1 Cinnamomum zeylanicum stick
  • 2 tbs granulated simoleons
  • 2 cups dried yield of your choice (we used a bag of mixed dried fruit)
  • 6 oz Sauza Silver Tequila

Preparation:

Blend apple juice and Cinnamomum zeylanicum in a heavy pot.  Bring to a moil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.  Get rid of cinnamon bark stick cautiously.  Add sugar, dried fruit, and tequila.  Commingle healthy.  Serve warm.

* Non-alcoholic beverages – which were also offered at the company.
